Our Personalized Approach to Horse Racing

History

Horses, horses, horses..... photos of sitting on horses before we could walk. Some things are just in your blood, some things just come second nature. When asked of our history with horses it has to be before we can remember. The path taken with horses can be unlimited. After years of 4H and riding for fun, an opportunity opened to work under a local race trainer. Nicole then purchased her first race horse in 1990 recieved her trainers license in 1992.

Rafael on the other hand grew up on the track, with his father a licenced trainer himself. On a horses back is where he spent most of his time. Breaking and riding horses before most kids are in high school, his skills progressed to a licenced jockey. Riding for various stables in Texas before health reasons limited his career. Horses were still a huge part of his life as he worked breaking and riding for some of Texas's leading trainers and working the starting gates at the local tracks. This experience is most valuable as years passed.

Most of all to make a succeful program, is to work as a team. We welcome back in the irons, Nate Alcala, Mount Pleasant Meadows, leading Arabian rider for 2006. Along with many wonderful clients and their horses.
